| Lap 1: (4/21/07) Opening night at OCFS had it's up's and down's for Schmidt Racing and Chuck Mckee. Chuck started the night in a very nice way in the 211 AutoBody, #211 2005 Troyer Max-Flex Small Block, by winning the 2nd Small Block heat. By winning the heat Chuck started 2nd in the 25 lap night cap feature. Chuck did not have as much success in the Lincoln AutoBody #5. Chuck started 7th in the 4th Big Block heat and finished 7th meaning he would start 8th in the consolation. Chuck had a hard time moving forward in the consolation and finished 7th on the track. However on the last restart the car behind Chuck at that time jumped the start and passed Chuck. The driver was sent back and Chuck was awarded the 6th position meaning he would start 26th for the 30 lap feature. In the Small Block feature Chuck ran up front the whole race. He even took the lead for 5 laps until a lap car ran into him, costing him the lead and 2nd place. Chuck held on for a close 3rd in the end. In Big Block action Chuck came out flying and moved up the entire race. Chuck started dead last and cracked the top 15 after 11 laps. Chuck spent the last part of the race picking off cars and ended up with a solid 13th place finish. The night had many low's, but in the end the night was not that bad. The track was terrible, 1 grove race track, but Chuck passed 13 cars in the Big Block feature, one if not the only car that made that many passes. Chuck will be back in action in both divisions at OCFS next week. | |||||||||||||
| Lap 2: (4/28/07) Week two at OCFS was a good one for Schmidt Racing and Chuck Mckee. Chuck started the night in a very nice way in Lincoln Auto Body #5 TEOPRO Car by winning the 4th Big Block heat. Chuck followed that up with a 2nd place finish in the 2nd Small Block heat. Based on the heat race results Chuck started 12th for the Big Block Feature and 15th for the Small Block Feature. In the Big Block feature Chuck got stuck in traffic most of the race and had to settle for 12th place finish. In Small Block action Chuck moved foward for most of the race. He battle with the #4 of Brett Hearn for most of the race and would finish one position in front of Hearn in 7th. After 2 weeks of racing Chuck in 9th in Big Block points and 3rd in Small Block points. See next week at the track. | |||||||||||||
| Lap 3: (5/5/07) Week three at OCFS was a not a good one for Schmidt Racing and Chuck Mckee. The night started out in a good way, Chuck started 4th in the 4th Big Block Heat and made his way to the 2nd position by the end of the race. By finishing second Chuck started 12th for the 30 lap feature. Chuck was in mid-pack in the early stages when he was involved in a accident in turn 3 sending the # 5 to the back of the pack. Chuck completed a couple of more laps and then pulled the # 5 in with a bent front end. Chuck would end up being scored 23rd. | |||||||||||||
| Road Show 1: ROLLING WHEELS RACEWAY PARK (5/6/07) An opening night on the road for Chuck Mckee and the Lincoln AutoBody, Perino Motorsports #5, 2007 Troyer Max-Flex. Chuck and team went north Sunday for the 1st road show of the year. Chuck drew for starting position in the heat and started 6th in the 1st heat. Chuck lost one position on the original start and ended up finishing 7th. With no consolations Chuck started the 60 lap feature in the 25th position. In what Chuck described as the worst dust/visibility conditions he has seen in 20 plus years, he tired to make his way forward in the feature. Chuck just tired to keep the car in one piece and stay on the race track most of the race. He did manage to pass several cars and picked up some spots threw accidents to finish 17th. The team was happy given the conditions and that the car was in one piece. Look for Chuck and team to hit more road shows as the year goes on. | |||||||||||||

| Lap 6: (5/26/07) No rain but dust this week at OCFS. In what can only be described as the worst dust conditions in OCFS history, racing Saturday was an adventure. The track was so dry that in warm ups the drives could not see. After some track work heat races did go off. Chuck started 3rd in the 4th big block heat. Chuck moved forward quickly taking the lead by lap 4 of the 8 lap heat and easily won by half a straight away. By winning the heat Chuck would have started 11th for the 30 lap feature. However do to the unsafe track conditions the race was canceled to be made up later in the year. | |||||||||||||
| Lap 7: (5/31/07) Super Dirt Series OCFS A busy week started for Chuck and crew on Thursday night for the 75 lap SDS race at OCFS. Chuck was in both Big Block and Small Block action on the night. Chuck got things off on the right foot by turning the 14th fastest time in time trials meaning he would start 3rd for the 2nd Big Block heat. In Small Block action Chuck started 6th in the 3rd heat and finished 3rd. He there for started the 25 lap feature in the 12th spot. In Big Block heat action Chuck quickly made the move for 2nd on the opening lap and finished in 2nd. After the redraw Chuck pulled the 6th starting spot for the night cap feature. In the feature Chuck got high early and lost a couple of spots but settled into the 10th position. With almost 50 laps of green flag racing and no passing Chuck settled for a 10th place finish. In Small Block action Chuck made several moves early and made two passes late to earn a 5th place finish. | |||||||||||||
Lap 8: (6/2/07) VICTORY A busy week ended with Chuck's 1st victory of the year. Chuck started Saturday night by starting 6th in the 4th Big Block heat and finished 5th. By finishing 5th Chuck started the 30 lap feature in 20th. In Small Block action Chuck started 6th in 2nd heat and finished 4th, meaning he would start 10th for the night cap 25 lap feature. Chuck avoided a major accident which did leave the # 5 with some damage in the Big Block feature to bring home a 15th place finish. Chuck avoided another major accident in the Small Block feature that left him in the 6th position. Chuck moved to 3rd by the next yellow and then used the top in turns 1 and 2 to make the last two passes for the lead. From there Chuck lead the last 16 laps for his 1st win of the year. |

| Lap 9: (6/9/07) This week was a good one for Chuck Mckee. Chuck started the night by coming from the 6th spot in the 1st Small Block heat to finish 4th. Chuck followed that up with a 6th place finish in the 2nd Big Block heat. By finishing 6th Chuck was forced to run the consi. Chuck started 2nd in the consi. and won by a half a strait away. Based on the heat race and consi results Chuck started 14th for the Small Block Feature and 21st for the Big Block Feature. In Small Block action Chuck moved forward for most of the race and avoided a couple of wreaks to finish a strong 7th. In addition Chuck took the Small Block points lead. In Big Block action Chuck avoid a big 1st lap wreak to come out in the 11th position. Chuck made the top work early to pass several cars and moved up to the 7th position. After half way the track locked down and there was no passing. Chuck would finish 7th. He is currently 7th in Big Block points. See you next week at the track. | |||||||||||||

| Lap 11: (6/24/07) After all the rain last week this week was another good one for Chuck Mckee. Chuck started the night by coming from the 7th spot in the 2nd Small Block heat to finish 5th. Chuck followed that up with a 5th place finish in the 2nd Big Block heat. Based on the heat race results Chuck started 13th for the Small Block Feature and 18th for the Big Block Feature. In Small Block action Chuck moved forward for most of the race but little passing lead to a 11th place finish. In Big Block action Chuck passed several cars and had one of the fastest cars on the track. The track was locked down most of the race and there was little passing. Chuck was one of the big moves going from 18th to 12th. See you next week. | |||||||||||||
| Road Show 2: George Wingate Classic, Bridgeport Speedway(6/27/07) The second night on the road for Chuck Mckee and the Lincoln AutoBody #5. Chuck and team went south Tuesday for the 2nd road show of the year. Chuck drew for starting position in the heat and started 4th in the 1st heat. Chuck held his own and finished 4th in the heat. Chuck started the 40 lap feature in the 13th position. Chuck was on the move the whole race and passed several cars. Chuck was running in the 8th position when the car in front of him blew a right rear tire. He was collected in the accident and hit the turn 1 wall hard. The #5 TEO PRO car suffered a bent front clip and a broken right rear spindle. At which point the night was over for Chuck and crew. Look for Chuck and team to hit the road in July at the ROC shows in Five Mile Point and Penn Can. | |||||||||||||
| Lap 12: (6/30/07) Chuck started the night by coming from the 4th spot in the 2nd Big Block heat to finish 3rd. Chuck followed that up with a 7th place finish in the 2nd Small Block heat. Based on the heat race results Chuck started 20th for the Small Block Feature and 9th for the Big Block Feature. In Small Block action Chuck moved forward for most of the race and avoided a couple of wreaks to finish a strong 9th. In addition Chuck maintained the Small Block points lead. In Big Block action Chuck was involved in a mid-race wreak and came back out to finish in the 15th position. He is currently 6th in Big Block points. See you next week at the track. | |||||||||||||
| Lap 13: (7/7/07) Racing this weekend at OCFS started out with a 30 lap held over Big Block feature. In the 1st feature action Chuck passed several cars and had one of the fastest cars on the track. The track was dusty and dry most of the race and there was little passing. Chuck was one of the big moves going from 11th to 5th. Chuck followed that up with a 6th place finish in the 1st Big Block heat. By finishing 6th Chuck was forced to run the consi. Chuck started on the pole in the consi. and won going away. Chuck started 21st for the Big Block Feature. Chuck avoid a major accident early and then used a couple of timely yellows to pass several cars. In the end Chuck scored a solid 11th place finish. With 7 weeks left in the season Chuck is 5th in Big Block points at OCFS. | |||||||||||||
| Lap 14: (7/14/07) Mckee starting to show strength at OCFS . The night started out in a good way, Chuck started 5th in the 3rd Big Block Heat and made his way to the 4th position by the end of the race after losing 2 spots early. By finishing 4th Chuck started 12th for the 30 lap feature. Chuck had the fastest car on the track and passed the most cars of anyone in the feature. Chuck used the top and the bottom of the race track in a race that had no yellows. In the end Chuck finished 5th. With 7 races left Chuck is 4th in Big Block points. 22 points out of 1st. | |||||||||||||
| Lap 15: (7/21/07) Chuck started the night by coming from the 7th spot in the 1st Big Block heat to finish 5th. Chuck followed that up with a win in the 2nd Small Block heat. Based on the heat race results Chuck started 5th for the Small Block Feature and 17th for the Big Block Feature. In a 3 lap top five in points dash for cash, Chuck started 2nd and finished 2nd. In Small Block action Chuck moved very little most of the race and finished 4th. Chuck maintained the Small Block points lead by 13 points. In Big Block action Chuck was involved in a mid-race wreak and came back out to move up several spots to finish in the 13th position. He is currently 6th in Big Block points. | Road Show 3: MS RACE FOR THE CURE , Bridgeport Speedway(7/25/07) The second trip of the year to the Bridgeport speedway for Chuck Mckee and the Lincoln AutoBody #5. Chuck and team went south Wednesday for the 3rd road show of the year. Chuck drew for starting position in the heat and started 10th in the 3rd heat. Chuck struggled and finished 9th in the heat. Chuck started the consolation in the 9th position. Chuck was on the move the whole race and passed several cars to move up to the 5th position. By finishing 5th Chuck started 23rd for the 40 lap feature. Chuck was on the move early moving up over the first 19 laps. Chuck was running in the 12th position when the started breaking up. At which point the night was over for Chuck as he pulled the car in , in order not to do any damage to the motor. Look for Chuck and team to hit the road in August at the ROC show at Five Mile Point. | |||||||||||||

| Lap 17: (8/5/07) Chuck started the night by coming from the 5th spot in the 3rd Big Block heat to finish 2nd. Chuck followed that up with a 2nd in the 3rd Small Block heat. Based on the heat race results Chuck started 6th for the Small Block Feature and 12th for the Big Block Feature. In Small Block action Chuck battled inside the top 3 all race and finished 3th. Chuck maintained the Small Block points lead by 18 points with just 2 races left. In Big Block action Chuck moved up early and battled a misfiring engine to finish in the 9th position. Chuck moved up to 5th in Big Block points with 3 races left. See you next week at the track. | |||||||||||||
| Lap 18: (8/18/07) Chuck started the night by finishing 7th in the 1st Big Block heat meaning he would have to run the consolation. Chuck followed that up with a 6th place finish in the 2nd Small Block heat. Based on the heat race results Chuck started 17th for the Small Block Feature and , after grabbing the 3rd spot in the Big Block consolation, 21st for the Big Block Feature. In Small Block action Chuck moved up quickly and was making the move for 6th when he was involved in a accident. Thanks to some quick work by the crew Chuck returned to the track and finished 13th. Chuck lost the Small Block points lead and is 1 point back with just 1 race left. In Big Block action Chuck moved up early and battled a mishandling car to finish in the 16th position. Chuck is 5th in Big Block points with 2 races left. See you next week at the track. | |||||||||||||
| Lap 19: (8/25/07) Chuck started the night by coming from the 5th spot in the 2nd Big Block heat to finish 2nd. In the Big Block feature Chuck passed several cars and had one of the fastest cars on the track before a 20 minute rain delay. The track got some water and the racing was still excellent. Chuck continued to move up after the rain and drove to a 6th place finish from the 11th starting spot. With one week to go Chuck is solidly in the 5th position in Big Block points 6 markers out of 4th and is just 1 point out of 1st in Small Block points. | |||||||||||||
| Lap 20: (9/1/07) Chuck started the night by coming from the 4th spot in the 2nd Big Block heat to finish 2nd. Chuck followed that up with a 6th in the 2nd Small Block heat after being involved in a mid race accident. Based on the heat race results Chuck started 20th for the Small Block Feature and 13th for the Big Block Feature. In Small Block action Chuck battled his way to the front all race, making several 3 wide moves as he tired to gain more points. In the end Chuck made it to 10th but would end up 2nd in the final Small Block points. In Big Block action Chuck was involved in a major lap one accident and was unable to continue finishing 25th. Chuck ended up finishing 5th in the final Big Block points. With the regular season over Chuck and team will look to the big end of the year races and of course ESW 2007. | |||||||||||||
| Road Show 4: McDonald's R.O.C 100, Fonda Speedway (9/22/07)The forth trip of the year for Chuck Mckee and the Lincoln AutoBody #5. Chuck and team went North Saturday for the 4th road show of the year. Chuck drew for starting position in the heat and started 5th in the 3rd heat. Chuck struggled and finished 7th in the heat. Chuck started the consolation in the 3rd position. Chuck did all he could with a mishandling car to finish in the 4th position. By finishing 4th Chuck failed to qualify for the 100 lap feature. At which point the night was over for Chuck . Chuck will look for some redemption this Friday night at the KING OF THE CATSKILLS 75 lap race at Accord speedway in 211 Autobody Troyer Small Block. | |||||||||||||
| Road Show 5: KING OF THE CATSKILLS , Accord Speedway (9/28/07) The fifth road trip of the year for Chuck Mckee took the team to Accord Speedway. Chuck drew for starting position in the heat and started 9th in the 2nd heat. Chuck charged to the front making it all the way to 3rd before a mishandling car cost him two spots late and he finished 5th in the heat. Chuck started the consolation in the 2nd position. Chuck did all he could with a mishandling car to finish in the 4th position. By finishing 4th Chuck failed to qualify for the 75 lap feature by 1 spot. At which point the night was over for Chuck . Chuck and team were not completely disappointed with the effort based on the fact that only 24 cars started the race. The last two weeks have been disappointing but Chuck and the crew got valuable experience on the road. Next up for Chuck and company is Eastern States Weekend 2007. | |||||||||||||
